Methods of Showing in 20th Century Philosophy
The workshop will focus on the methods of showing in Philosophy. This is part of the SNF project titled ‘Gestures: 50 years of showing philosophy’. The aim of this workshop is to gather different methodological approaches of showing in philosophy, as we understand this concept coming from the Wittgensteinian distinction between saying and showing. The presentations will focus on various kinds of pointing methods in philosophy, ranging from thinking in constellations to philosophical drawings and self-portraits
